Privacy policy
Who runs Focus
Focus is run by Brad Williams. Questions about your data: privacy@fcused.app.
What we store
When you sign in with Google we store four things from your Google account:
- your name
- your email address
- your avatar URL
- your Google subject id (a stable account identifier)
We also store what you create in Focus: tasks, areas, comments, agent job records, and the snapshots that agents attach to their work.
Google permissions
Focus asks for the Google scopes openid, email, and profile, and nothing else. After sign-in we make no other Google API calls and we cannot read your Gmail, Drive, Calendar, or contacts.
How we use it
Your data is used only to run the app for you. We do not sell it, we do not share it with anyone, we show no ads, and we run no analytics.
Google API Services User Data Policy
Focus's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We use Google user data only to sign you in and show your name and avatar, and we do not transfer it to others or use it for advertising.
Where it is hosted
Focus runs on Cloudflare (Workers, D1, and R2) in Brad Williams's own Cloudflare account. Cloudflare processes the data on our behalf to provide hosting.
Cookies
Focus sets one session cookie to keep you signed in. There are no tracking or advertising cookies.
How long we keep data
- Deleted tasks are purged after 30 days.
- Activity history is deleted after 400 days.
- Deleting your account removes your data immediately. Stored files are removed shortly after.
Export and deletion
You can export your data and delete your account from Settings in the app. You can also email privacy@fcused.app.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update this page and its effective date. For material changes we will also tell signed-in users in the app.
